In 2017, three designers left art school with a simple frustration: the tools they used every day were disposable, forgettable, and unworthy of the work they were made for.
So they set out to make something different. Not just better tools, but tools that felt like they belonged in your hand. Objects with enough honesty in their making that you'd want to keep them, repair them, and eventually pass them on.
That's still what we do. Every Makers Cabinet tool begins with a question: what would this look like if it were made to last a lifetime?
